 Renter has moved out and the unit needs to be cleaned, repaired, and walls painted. Plus there are a few chances we have been wanting to make which are being done at this time. Living room ceiling has been re textured, the back window replaced, and all the wood work has been painted a dark brown.

 Dishwasher  installed and working, AC unit has been repaired  and new stove scheduled to be delivered this week.

 We are almost ready to start taking applications for  this apartment. Today the new dishwasher was delievered and I finished cleaning the kitchen cabinets. All we need to do is install the dishwisher, finish cleaning the stove and shower doors and give the place a good inspection and cleaning.

  The flooring is taking a bit longer then planned. I still have the kitchen window to sand and paint. After the floor is finished we will be installing the wood trim, replacing some doors and cabinets, counter tops, applicances and hooking the water back up. Lots to do yet - but lots done.

March 24,2013
 All the walls have been given their second coat of paint and all windows repainted except the kitchen window. All flooring is scheduled to be installed this week after that I will paint the kitchen window. After that we will add the wood trim, new window blinds, counter top and replace appliances.

March 8  Kitchen window glass was replaced this morning. Last week we discovered that the electric for the baseboard heating had to be upgraded  and had to wait for the work to be done before we could continue.  We are now ready to continue with the drywall patching and window painting.

Feb.17, 2013  All the trim board has been removed from the apartment except around the kitchen window and A/C. The cabinets have been pulled out from the walls and  old applicances removed. The place is now bare - a new slate to work on! I will start painting the ceilings this week and Bill will continue with any patching that needs to be done before I can paint he walls. Lots of work finished  - but lots to do yet.

On Feb 10,2013 we started re-modeling this unit by removing the carpet, vinyl flooring and wood trim around floorboards and windows. The vinyl flooring is much harder to remove and will take awhile and is something that Bill will have to help with. I washed the walls to prepare them for patching and repainting after Chris and I removed all the woodworking.
